Responsibilities
- Review accounts for potential fraud such as first-party fraud, kiting fraud, money mule activities
- Identify online Account Takeover (ATO) fraud using anomaly detection techniques
- Analyze check items for fraud using signature verification and pattern analysis
- Monitor transaction alerts for suspicious activities or unusual patterns
- Coordinate investigations and take action on fraud cases
- Document findings in SARs or client reports and escalate high-risk cases
- Refine fraud detection rules to reduce false positives while following regulatory guidelines
